YouTube Skin For PotPlayer

Major update V4 is out!
Attention Win XP Users:The skin requires the Consolas font (included in ms office and vista+) if you don't have it, get it here.

Huge Thanks to ~MartyMcFlysBlog for his continued work and dedication on his fork of the skin. Plenty of stuff he has come up with, many that I wouldn't likely have thought of on my own, has made its way into the skin.
Big thanks to ~entd4rk for bringing to my attention the repeat markers and the awesome fact that you can have a real protruding time cursor just like Youtube if you use Direct3D9 mode.

There's now Direct3D9 variants to go along with the silm (6 pixel seekbar) variants included in the skin.


Updated 4/11/13, V4

-Playing file specs (Codecs, Channels) are now shown in titlebar.
-Interactive open 'play button' replaces the animated potplayer background.
-Remade the Loading animations, The colors now match seamlessly with the rest of the skin.
-New Direct3D9 skins with protruding timeline cursor exactly like youtube (thanks entd4rk).
/Note: Due to limitations, there is no interactive background in Direct3D9 mode./
-Repeat markers are now white brackets like Youtube (thanks entd4rk)
-Added Control Panel (thanks MartyMcFlysBlog)
-Window GUI made to match the Control Panel and in turn the rest of the skin.
-Changed Playlist Add/Remove icons to more fitting Folder/Trash icons (thanks MartyMcFlysBlog).
-Clicking on the elapsed time display swaps it to time remaining (thanks MartyMcFlysBlog).
-Items that require a file to be playing to have a use (time, subtitles, bookmarks, file info) only appear when media is playing.
-Rounded out the edges of the titlebar Maximize/Restore Button.
-In the slim version the time cursor now fits squarely into the timeline.
-Open button now brings up context menu with options to open dvd, url, subtitles, etc.

-Button to split/attach Playlist is now the Youtube share button instead of paperclip.
-Introduced a information button in the playlist (left click gives you file info window, right click gives you osd).
-Introduced more evident and fitting playlist button (thanks MartyMcFlysBlog).
-Volume bar handle now the proper 14 pixels (thanks MartyMcFlysBlog).
-Fullscreen button now changes when you are in fullscreen (thanks again Marty).
-Changed Watch later from playlist toggle to nifty bookmark button.
-Smaller timeline cursor that fits into the timeline.
-Titlebar filename text no longer centered but aligned 12 pixels from the left like on Youtube.
-Shine effect added to skin wallpaper.

The interface you all know and love, now in Potplayer!
Just put the .dsf in the Potplayer skins folder and voila.


So I really like the simplicity and compactness of the youtube UI and wanted it in my favorite desktop player.
Didn't think I'd succeed at first the .xml syntax is a tad intimidating but some persistence payed off and it couldn't have turned out any better.
